In the funny/weird news of the day category:The world record for the largest number of people dressed as Smurfs has been smashed in Swansea. The Welsh city was turned blue as a group of 2,510 people, the majority of whom were students from the local university, crammed into the Oceana nightclub to almost double the previous record.
Wow. I thought I had some major time on my hands. How do you find and convince over 2,500 people to color themselves blue and dress up as smurfs? I have to assume that facebook was somehow involved.
